Biography
Imai Keiju (今井景樹, 1891–1967) studied painting from Imao Keinen (今尾景年, 1845–1924), who was affiliated with the Maruyama school of painting, and he became Keinen’s apprentice. He was particularly proficient at bird-and-flower scenes.
