Furuya Taiken (古屋 台軒, 1894–1944) was an ukiyo-e artist and modern-style printmaker. He was a student of Kawai Gyokudō (1873–1957) and Kaburaki Kiyokata (1878–1972). He was born in Asakusa district of Tokyo. He was particularly proficient at landscapes, bird-and-flower paintings, and figurative paintings. As a newcomer following in the heels of Hashiguchi Goyō, Itō Shinsui, and Kawase Hasui, he produced shin-hanga prints.
