BiographyBorn in Niigata prefecture. Studied oil painting with Fukuda Shinsei and mokuhan with Munakata Makka. Active in design of packaging and screens. Member of Banga-in from 1967. Prints include large decorative images of flowers, sometimes with children and birds, in black and white.
