BiographyBorn in Hyögo. In 1903 he became a pupil of Takeuchi Seihö, and showed nihonga in the seventh Bunten in 1913. His landscape and figure prints were published by Satö Shötarö in 1925. Participated in the Bunten, Teiten and shin-bunten until 1942. Although he kept faithful to the ukiyo-e tradition, he developed a new style.
