Nakazawa Hiromitsu

Born in Shiba, Tokyo. In 1887 he became a pupil of Soyama Sachihiko. he entered the Western painting department of the Tokyo School of fine Arts in 1896 and studied under Kuroda Seiki. He participated in the Bunten, Teiten and Nitten. he worked as an illustrator and as designer of bookcovers. (The Female Image: 20th Century Prints of Japanese Beauties. Hotei Publishing, 2000).
