DescriptionKasuga Mandala - the appearance of Buddhist Divinities over the Kasuga Shrine. The Kasuga Shrine at Nara with Kasuga Hill in the background with rising sun (gilt) to the left. In the top temple compound are 5 Buddhist deities: Kannon, Jizo, Yakushi, Shaka, and Monju. Lower part of the painting has red and black Tori gate leading into park with deer, shrubs, and trees. Horizontal cloud bands. Vertical seam dividing.
