DescriptionCoat of wide red and yellow stripes made up of 8 narrow strips of silk each having 1 red and 1 yellow stripe in the warp. In addition, weft was tie-dyed (ikat) so that the color changed from yellow and red where the warp changed color. Neck, front, hem and cuffs trimmed with silk braid; front is faced with bold red, white and yellow silk ikat pattern.On View
