DescriptionInterior of Dutch room with woman holding ‘cello seated off-center left, dressed in white satin with tight bodice and full skirt, trimmed with bands of pink and gold braid. At her left and on the other side of a table covered with a heavy red cloth, a man sits playing a mandolin. Below stands a dog. At left of painting there is a second seated woman in a similar style dress of rose and pale yellow, who holds an open book and is resting her arm on the sill of an open window. A man, wearing a wide-brimmed hat is looking over her shoulder. At right center there is a view of an open courtyard with 3 approaching figures.
