Mori YoshitoshiJapanese, 1898 - 1992

Born on October 31, 1900, in Tokyo, where he still lives. Graduated from the Kawabata Art School and studied the traditional dyeing methods of Japan and Okinawa under Yanagi Soetsu and Serizawa Keisuke, of the Japan Folk Art Association. Well known as a textile and paper designer. Principal outside interest is traditional Japanese music, particularly the short songs (Kouta) sung to samisen accompaniment.
