Hanawa Takuma

Mr. Takuma Hanawa was born in 1947 in Hachioji city in the larger Tokyo area. In 1972 he graduated from the famous Musashino College. In 1973 he came to France for further art studies. This has influenced his style and subjects. His woodblock prints show town views and landscapes from Europe, Japan and a few other parts of the world. They are made in Japanese woodblock tradition and have a French touch at the same time. Mr. Takuma Hanawa is a member of Japan Print Association he has received many awards and has exhibited with the major galleries in Tokyo since his graduation. The artist works in woodblock technique.
