Igawa Sengai

Born in Gifu prefecture. Studied with Tomioka Eisen. Illustrator for Miyako shinbun. Later graduated from the school of Taiheiyögakai and became member of Taiheiyögakai. Exhibited at Teiten. Contributed to the series New Ukiyo-e Beauties (Shin ukiyo-e bijin shö) ca.1924. Used the signature Sengai.
