Maki Haku

Born September 27, 1924, in Ibaragi Prefecture, near Tokyo. Graduated from Ibaragi Teachers’ College and is now vice-principal of an elementary school. Studied for two years under Onchi Koshiro with the Modern Print Study Group. Other interests include carving seals and writing poetry.
