Hirai GohōJapanese, born 1884
Hirai Gohō (平井呉鳳, b. 1884) was born in Saitama Prefecture. He studied painting under Kawabata Gyokushō (川端玉章, 1842–1913), Kawai Gyokudō (川合玉堂, 1873–1957), and Kobayashi Gokyō (小林呉嶠, 1871–1928). He was particularly adept at bird-and-flower paintings.
