Hama Koshō

Hama Koshō (濱孤嘯, 1894–1969). His real name was Kyōji恭二. He was born in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture. His painting teacher was Konoshima Ōkoku (see Entry 32). He was a member of the Kansai Bijutsu-in (see Entry D2). His work was selected for display at the Teiten (see Entry A3). He received an award at the Nihon Bijutsu-in (See Entry A1). He was a member (inyū 院友) of the Japan Visual Arts Academy (Nihon Bijutsu-in, see Entry D1).
