Kamisaka SekkaJapanese, 1866 - 1943

Born in Kyoto. Designer of ornaments. Woodblock albums A Thousand Butterflies (Chö Senrui), 1903, and World of Things (Momoyo-gusa), 1909, published by Yamada Naozö of Unsödö in Kyoto. Poems and Pictures (Uta-e), a tribute to Köetsu, published in 1934. These are books of multicolor moku-hanga in a revived rinpa style.
