DescriptionThis image is supposedly based upon Hiroshige's depiction of Ishiyakushi (Station No. 45) in his own series, Fifty Three Stations of the Tökaidö, c. 1833 - 1834. Unlike the images in the first half of Kunisada's series, however, this image does not resemble Hiroshige's print.
