DescriptionPointed sloping silhouette characteristic of Mt. Fuji, rent by clouds near peak, with torii and shrines, boat filled waterways at base. Brushwork and printed seal impression suggest artist worked on fan after paper was folded. Inscription at left: On the 20th day of July, 1920 (8th year of Taisho) the Master of the Tiger House climbed Fuji Mountain and brought back some "golden bright" water (snow). So I used this water to paint this picture.
