DescriptionCaryatid or supporting figure. In kneeling position; with elaborate headdress forming hour-glass shaped capital, and badly termite-eaten base. Figure carries ritual rattle in her right hand and bird-topped staff in her left; she wears replica of mask in hair, heavy neck pieces and scanty pelvis covering. There are white brushed dots overall, white striped facial scarification patterns, bright blue on headdress, traces of ochre on eyelids and feet, and red coloration on bird.
