DescriptionHermes (Mercury) or Mars. Parian marble torso, cut in the round. Nude except for drapery folded on left shoulder, one end extending down back to waist, other end over left upper arm where it is fastened to top of sword hilt, carved with flower; mended. Torso is in standing position, with weight on left leg. Missing parts: head, right arm above elbow, left arm above elbow, right leg at groin, left leg midway above knee.On View
