DescriptionGilded bronze figure on black marble plinth. Figure is nude to waist and wears full, gathered skirt held by knotted cord at right side; has on smooth shoes that end in roll top half way up legs. Figure kneeling on left knee with toe of foot also touching plinth, leg parallel to width of plinth. Body is turned to face foward, with right foot pointed to front. Left arm held up from shoulder with elbow bent & fingers outstretched; right arm stretched across body ending at left shoulder, with fingers and hand outstretched. Head is covered with tight curls and is held by a band, the ends of which hang down back of neck. Head tilted back over right shoulder.On View
